It was one rainy Thursday when Fred, Martina and I went to SM Seaside City Cebu. We were there for four (4) hours just to buy gifts for the coming occasions and enjoy a very simple lunch. We had no plans of eating our snacks there as we’re thinking of Louise. It was the first time that all three of us went to the mall, leaving poor Louise having no idea where we went. Oh! what a surprise it must have been for her to come home from school without us.
Anyway, so thinking of what snacks to eat at home, we saw Mr. Pizza near the entrance/exit of the mall in front of the taxi stand. What convinced us to go inside was their Take Out Blow Out Promo (see below). Oh! how I love promos, and so the Frugal Mommy went on!
With Mr. Pizza’s Take Out Blow Out Promo, you can take 1 Classic Pizza for FREE for every order of 1 Premium Pizza (must be of the same). It’s valid for take-out transactions only from Sunday to Saturday.
It’s a great deal alright, considering it’s from Mr. Pizza, Korea’s no. 1 brand of pizza. Just so you know, their pizzas are hand-made from start to finish, they even have this principle:
- 100% Hand-kneaded – size is determined by hand-kneading and hand-juggling live dough.
- 100% Full-hearted topping – topping is placed with the same sincerity and dedication as farmers plant seeds.
- 100% Grill-baked – Screen grills are used to obtain a light, wholesome taste, as reducing amount of oil.
While choosing for my order, the attending staff was very good in explaining and giving suggestions. Since Fred is not allowed to eat fatty foods due to his recent gall bladder removal operation, I ordered the Secret Garden (Regular size – 11 inches, 8 slices). Their Large size is 14 inches with 10 slices.

For the Classic Pizza prices which you can get for free from the promo, please see below. Like premium pizza, you can also choose your crust and you have the option to add toppings. In our case, we chose the New York Special (Original).
If you want thin crust pizza, they also have it but it’s not included in the promo.
If you don’t feel like eating pizza, don’t worry. They have pasta and rice dishes (see photo next to the above, right side), classic spaghetti, risotto, side dishes and salad (see below).
While waiting for our order, I was entertained by KPOP videos aired on their TV. I’m not a fan but it helped me forget the time for a while.
And finally, after few minutes, behold the Secret Garden and New York Special pizza, respectively. We paid only Php530 for these two.
By the time we arrived home, we savored our yummy take-home while it was still hot. Their pizzas are indeed delicious, very meaty and so full of toppings.
