NESTOGROW #GrowHappy Nation on Raising Healthy and Happy Kids

October 30, 2018
Cebu mommy blogger Hannah and Louise

Being a mother for 6 years now, I have already faced different parenting dilemmas. One is when my child is sick from which it’s very difficult to deal with. For common colds and cough with mild fever, I know already what to do and when to see the doctor. However, when it’s involving stomach bug and severe infections resulting to high fever, I can’t help myself but panic. Especially now that Louise is in first grade, she stays in school for the whole day. This makes her more exposed to germs and illnesses from the surroundings. Also, the thought that I can’t be with her always frustrates me, and if she’s absent for many days, it can affect her school performance. Not fun, right? So this is why every day, I make sure she’s able to do the following to help her be healthy and for her to learn healthy habits as she grows up.

  • Eat healthy breakfast
  • Eat healthy snacks
  • Take vitamins
  • Drink water every now and then, even if she’s not thirsty.
  • Allot playtime at home even for at least 30 minutes.
  • Have at least 8 hours of sleep
  • Drink at least 2 glasses of milk per day.

As for her milk, we give her NESTOGROW (Nestokid before) because of its NEW formulation. It now contains the following:

  • LComfortis – a probiotic which helps in having a healthy tummy for our children. Constipation and diarrhea are no fun, Louise has experienced both and I’m happy that Nestogrow is able to help us to avoid these.
  • Lipoactive – good fat which helps in the absorption of nutrients like calcium in our children’s body, supporting their overall development.
  • No Sucrose (known as table sugar) – Louise doesn’t like eating candies and drinking sodas. Thankfully with Nestogrow, she’s not exposed to sweet taste every day.

Nestogrow also has DHA, we all know how important it is for our child’s brain development. Right now, I am very happy that Louise has a passing score in all subjects during their first quarter examination. To be honest, it’s quite difficult to convince a child to study every night (they’re tired already from school) that’s why it is very important that our kids can easily understand their lessons in school so when there’s a quiz or big exam, they only need to do a short review and not extensive tutorial from us. With Nestogrow, not only it has helped Louise with her studies, it has also helped her to avoid absences due to sickness. At present, I noticed Louise is now showing interest in painting, drawing and coloring. I’m really glad she’s starting to explore other activities aside from dancing. Whatever activity she likes next, I know she can do it because of Nestogrow’s formulation.

Getting all the benefits mentioned above won’t cost us much money because Nestogrow is still very affordable – Php 790 for a 1.8kg pack. And all these were emphasized during Nestogrow’s Grow Happy Nation Event. I and Louise were able to attend the event at SM City Cebu and we had so much fun. Before the event, we had an intimate discussion first with Cebu mommy bloggers and Mommy Sigrid from Bacolod.  We talked and shared about the things we do for our kids to be healthy, we even have the same perception about our kids’ weight, that being fat doesn’t always mean the kid is healthy. What’s more important is that the child is active, growing normally and of course, happy.
