Robinsons Summit Galleria Cebu Hotel – Fun Family Staycation

March 2, 2018
Robinsons Summit Galleria Hotel

Last year, there were two hotels that opened in Metro Cebu, offering soft opening promo rates. Robinsons Summit Galleria Cebu Hotel is one of the two. Unfortunately, I discovered about the promo a bit late. Still, I called Summit Galleria last November just in case they still offer cheaper rates and luckily, their rate is a little more than Php 3,000, including breakfast for two at the Providore. It was a perfect deal for me so I booked a room, just for a weekend.

It was 3PM when we arrived. The hotel is in the same building where the mall is located but no worries about the parking because there are spaces reserved for hotel guests only. Anyway, the first thing we noticed was the lobby. I loved the interiors, seeing the whole area with fewer people.

And when we entered our room, tada! Here’s their Super King-sized room, suitable for 2 adults and 2 children. I love hotels with carpeted rooms and for this one, even though not the whole floor area is covered, still I loved it because of the design.

Every time we checked-in in a hotel, the second thing we look at is the view from our room. For the one that was given to us, below was our view – the south area, in SRP.

While Fred and I were busy with taking photos and videos for the blog, we kept the kids busy by letting them watch TV. Yeah, wherever we go, they will always look for Disney Channel!

Like any other hotels, the room also has a safety deposit box, a fridge, complimentary water bottles and coffee/tea products.

We weren’t able to take photos of their bathroom though, only videos so check them out in the video below. After taking photos, we bond and rest for a while and then we prepared for the kids’ most awaited part – fun at the pool! This was the most impressive part (for me), because the indoor pool area was so beautiful and only a few people were there. Few minutes after we arrived, everybody else left apart from us and we really felt like we owned the place! Just look at it, stunning right?

There were beds and stylish sofas at the side, and look at the paintings, they complement the whole pool area. There’s a shallow area for kids and beside it was the pool for adults. Honestly, we wanted to stay there for hours but the pool water was too cold and it was almost time for dinner so we left. Too bad they have a closing time for their pool, 8 PM if I remember it correctly.

What I loved about our stay there was we’re just an elevator away from the mall. After changing clothes, we’re off to find a place for dinner. We’ve been to Robinsons Galleria for several times already but it was the first time we took a photo beside their giant guitar. Funny but really we just felt like tourists that time.

The kids were so sleepy already that we hurriedly finish our dinner and went back to our room. Besides, Louise missed her bed and said wanted to sleep, after bedtime stories of course.

I normally include our breakfast experience in our hotel review but for Summit Galleria, I decided to write a separate article, check out my next post about Providore Cebu.

For the complete view of the hotel, watch our video below.

Overall, the time and money spent were all worth it! We’re satisfied with the services, we had a smooth check-in and check-out processes. Louise also loved the whole experience that even at present, whenever we passed by the hotel, she would try to convince us to go back to the place. I wish we can stay there every weekend but as adults, we all know that doesn’t work in reality, haha!
