The recent hospitalization and the current health condition of Fred left us with small budget for his birthday celebration this year. Also, we were very careful in choosing for the place and food because fatty foods are not ideal for him at present. So we ditched the original plan of having birthday buffet and looked for a dining place serving set menu instead.
We chose the most convenient place for us which is SM Seaside City and since Fred’s always a fan of dimsum and chinese specialties, we settled at Majestic located at 2nd Floor, Cube Wing.
It was Thursday night and there were only three occupied tables when we arrived. But guess what, after an hour, the place was crowded with people and the funny thing was, there were 5 birthday celebrations. Why I knew? Like any other restaurants, Majestic also has their staff singing birthday songs and we had fun counting. And like us, their tables were filled with specialties from Majestic Supersavers set menu.
In our case. we ordered the Birthday set, good for 4 persons which only costs Php 990. See the inclusions below. I forgot to take photos though for the Butchi and Lechon Macau which is similar to Lechon Kawali. For vegetables, we just added Chop suey guisado.
We loved the food and we only paid Php 1,210. How’s that price for a birthday???
The place was very busy though so we waited for a couple of more minutes before we sang the birthday song and let Fred blow the cake. Oh how he loved his Leona’s cake. We left the toppings all for Louise though, haha! Just look at her face.
We were able to limit the cost to Php 2000 (including the cake and the taxi) and yes it was so sulit and our tummies were satisfied. Fred was very much happy also, just look at him playing after dinner, he was really celebrating like a kiddo!
