When celebrating a baby’s monthly birthdays, cake is the most important food on the table and props for the pictorial. Starting from Louise’s celebrations years ago, up to last year for Martina, we have already tried different flavors from well-known cake brands, you know, the ones you can easily buy from shops.
Being a frugal person, one of the sites I always check is Metrodeal for discount vouchers. While browsing, I saw the deal below, a customized 6-inch flat design round cake from Cakes R Us for the price of P300 instead of P500. I haven’t tried their cakes yet so it was really quite a good deal.

The voucher can then be seen from my Metrodeal account, I have it printed and went to Cakes R Us in SM City Cebu for the order (should be at least 7 days before pickup).
For the price of Php 300, here’s what I’ve got. It’s not a round cake though but the design was OK.

I noticed the cake was a bit heavy, it was probably because of the icing. As for the taste, honestly there’s nothing impressive. But for the price of Php 300 and for a unique cake, it’s still worth your money.
